Large Format Outdoor Banners – From Bolton to the Winter Olympics

Objective

To create bold, high-impact outdoor banners that would stand out on the world stage, showing unwavering support for Team GB athletes competing at the Winter Olympics 2026 in Milan-Cortina.

Outdoor Banners

We produced three large-scale 3m x 1.5m outdoor banners, printed on lightweight, weatherproof material, designed for maximum visibility in snow and mountain conditions.

High-Impact Design

The banners featured a bold Union Jack background, high-resolution athlete imagery, and strong typography to ensure they stood out against the snowy alpine backdrop

Flexible Installation

Each banner was finished with brass eyelets and pole pockets, allowing for secure and flexible installation along the slope barriers.

Event Environment

Displayed at the Winter Olympics venue in Milan-Cortina, the banners were positioned to capture attention from spectators, supporters, and broadcast cameras.

Design

To achieve maximum impact, we combined strong national branding with clear messaging. The use of the Union Jack,
large-scale visuals, and the rallying slogan “GO GREAT BRITAIN” ensured instant recognition and emotional connection.

Impact

The finished piece created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, becoming a focal point for social gatherings and
celebrations. The playful pub sign concept added personality and sparked conversation among visitors.

Result

Huw and his teammate Charlotte achieved an incredible Olympic Gold Medal – marking Great Britain’s first ever Olympic medal on snow. The banners played their part in creating a powerful and memorable atmosphere of support.
